we have had to lock the doors if you are not a VIP then you will only see the maintenance page, we have implemented a temp solution to allow VIP's to continue to access the site, PLEASE DO NOT SHARE THIS INFORMATION !! if a user is a VIP they will have access. Our API has continued to work over the last few weeks however we were told we had to take the website down.

folks please remember our IRC server is technically a public space, please be carful what you say there, the channel could have non VIP and even NON members lurking.
Guess I'm at risk of being banned, but transparency is more important to me than saving a service that is being questionable...
Still a paid up member, and still appreciate their contribution to improving SABNZBD especially...

Dear VIP+ Member,
Firstly we would like to apologies to any members that have had trouble accessing the site over the last few weeks. Most users have been able to access the site and our API servers have continued to function during this difficult time. We had our hosting shutdown due some trolls complaining and basically had to execute plan B which we have now completed. We have stayed true to our word and our promise to our members to ensure that the site is available.
We have relocated to another country, new hosting and taken steps to secure our site and our community. We are no longer open for new registrations and we will no longer be servicing freeloader members, We are members only from now on. We will look at enabling our invite system at some stage in the future, but for now our priority is to look after YOU our existing and loyal members.
We would like to ask if you can be mindful of what you post on public forum sites, this will assist us in maintaining our �off the radar� existence.
We stopped the automatic downgrading for expired VIP accounts when we had to go offline, that will be re-enabled at the end of this month, so please check in your profile if you are not sure when you VIP expires and take steps to renew before you are downgraded as we will no longer be servicing freeloader members. There is a new webstore for upgrades and the details are in the forum upgrade thread.
While they could have put out some information about what was going on with them, they have done exactly what they had said they would do and and keep operating as they had a back up plan if things got bad. So at least they still offer a service unlike most that keep the money and run.
